The coronavirus pandemic demands that health care providers rethink how they deliver care in ways that reduce risk of further spreading infection. The use of telehealth is one approach that can help keep both patients and providers safe. As such IHealth Physical Therapy will be providing TeleHealth Physical Therapy services to all our patients to assist them in their care.
Our patients tell us how important is to have continued care esp. for our post operative care patients and pelvic patients; we would like to continue providing care to our existing patients in a safe and socially responsible manner. By eliminating barriers to care, we strongly believe telehealth improves outcomes for physical therapy patients. They get the continued care due to the CoVID restrictions which is so necessary for physical therapy treatment. This decision is in the best interest of our community and we hold our social responsibility to protect the health and safety of our patients, staff and visitors as our highest priority.
Out Telehealth services are provided in addition to our patient visits. However given the fast moving directives from state and local health official may necessitate closure of our clinic for a temporary period- during which we will continue to provide TeleHealth services to our patients.
Please contact our office for more details on our Telehealth PT service which will include getting access to our service portal that meets all HIPAA compliance. TeleHealth PT visits are covered by many insurances, and we will verify patient’s insurance coverage benefits for Telehealth services prior to visit.
* IHealth will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves and do everything we can to be a service to our community. The recent COVID-19 update from Governor of New Jersey allows essential medical practices to remain open including Physical Therapy practices.
